You are exactly right. The mathematically perfect thing to do is worthless if it is not going to be followed. A less than perfect – but still very good – process that is followed is many times better.

That is what DR has come up with. Very clear rules to follow with steps leading to financial freedom. So what if it isn’t ‘perfect’. People follow it and it works.

Great post – This is what i think most people mis-understand. Dave Ramsey gives advice for the masses, for the marjority of people who are having problems. Are there mathematically better ways to do things? Yes. are there better ways to do things? usually not.
