Make sure you get a written prescription from the doctor's office for BOTH glasses and contacts before you leave. Do not by what they offer you in the office but ask for the written prescription. This way you can look online and compare prices. It is cheaper to get your contacts online and two places you can trust are Coastal Contacts and Vision Direct. Both are dot coms and have many customers, including me. For glasses you might want to check Zenni or Optical4Less but you must have your full prescription in hand to use these.
